Bullous epidermolysis in an adolescent. Presentation of a case

Introduction: epidermolysis bullosa is a genetic disease characterized by the appearance of blisters and ulcers following friction or trauma. The lesions can have a cutaneous and extracutaneous location. To make the diagnosis, laboratory tests must be performed.
Objective: to describe a case of epidermolysis bullosa in an adolescent patient.
Case presentation: 14-year-old male adolescent patient with a diagnosis of epidermolysis bullosa admitted to the Eliseo Noel Caamaño Provincial Pediatric Hospital in Matanzas.
Conclusions: this disease is rare and has low morbidity, which is important to know in order to diagnose it in time and timely apply therapy.
