Abstract

Introduction: Many of the aspects of the relationship between Julio
Antonio Mella and Tina Modotti are not well known despite the interesting
results. When the FEU is already heading to the centenary of its
foundation it is worth remembering that it was Julio Antonio Mella the
Cuban who did the most in less time; This can be a way that contributes
to the formation of values in Cuban youth and especially of university
students.

Objective: to describe some aspects of the love and life relationship,
between Julio Antonio Mella and Tina Modotti.

Development: some of the main events related to the exciting love story
between the Cuban and student leader Julio Antonio Mella and the Italian
photographer Tina Modotti are described, which had a brief existence,
only four months, but in which the lovers lived intensely a well-matched
idyll, although with a tragic end. Despite that it is considered "one of the
most beautiful love stories of our America."

Conclusions: The history of the relationship to delinquent, revolutionary
and human lived by young people Julio Antonio Mella and Tina Modotti is
an example for young university students today. Like the fire, was the
